We’re well beyond 50,000 SetNCure-treated finishes — and that’s just SetNCure. That’s not even counting the spray jobs with MicroGlass.
And that’s a lot of: in-house small batches, quality-controlled and hand-capped buckets, pallets and trucks — repeat. A ton of miles, tire changes, and in-person field visits with crews — repeat.

With a milestone like that, we figured it was time to put this on the website too: WHO WE ARE.
More Than a “Product Company”
Every one of our guys loves this wild industry and came up through it. We’ve got guys with 20–40+ years in the plaster game. Guys who have been:
- Plaster, quartz, pebble, and polished-finish applicators, mixers, and foremen
- Pebble Tec trainers, applicators, and certified builders
- WetEdge certified applicators and pioneers (the late, great Loren Granstrom)
- SGM, PMM, CLI, and Florida Stucco certified applicators (one of us was the largest Diamond Brite applicator globally until the late 1990s)
- Interior finish manufacturers (one of our dudes came up with the formula and bagged the original Quartzscapes before it got bought up)
- Repeat Pool & Spa News Top 50 builders & remodelers
- Start-up pros and green-to-clean wizards
- Cement scientists, inventors, product developers, and manufacturer reps
- Former National Plasterers Council committee and board members (heck, one of us was even the NPC Chairman back in the day)
- Blah blah blah. We could go on, but you get the picture.
SO WHAT?
This is a reminder of who we are and why we make these products.
We’re here to be a resource. Use us. Either by phone or in person. Sleeves rolled up, spikes on, standing with you.
If you ever need help, got a product question, need something from us, or want to chat tips and tricks on finish protection, washing, or exposure — we’re here. Coast to coast.
P.S. — the crew got deeper since we first shared this. Joel Padilla joined us out of Las Vegas: mixing plaster in the back of a truck since ’94, crew lead by ’97, came up in the early PebbleTec days when they were figuring out exposure on the fly — at its peak his crew was shooting five pebble pools a day. He’d rather climb in the pool with the crew than call it out from the deck. That’s the hiring filter, if you’re wondering.
— The MicroGlass Team
Josh Parrott, Reese Penke, Thomas Cruz, Lalo Garcia, Joel Padilla, Bill Shrock, Alan Smith, Ben Evans, Patrick Brindle, our in-house manufacturing, testing, and warehouse crew, the admin team, William Reed — the man who invented this whole product line — and the hard work and spirit of the late, great Loren Granstrom.
